Conditions of participation (General)

1. Organizer: The competition is organized by Burg Hohewerfen / Salzburger Burgen und Schlösser, Burgstraße 2, 5450 Werfen, (hereinafter "Organizer").
2. Connection to Instagram: This competition is in no way connected to Instagram/Meta and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Instagram. The recipient of the information provided is not Instagram, but the organizer.
3. Participation: Participation takes place by liking the post + following @burghohenwerfen and the respective competition partners.
4. Multiple entries: Only one entry per person is valid. Multiple comments do not constitute a claim to multiple tickets and will not be considered more than once in the draw.
5. Eligibility to participate: Natural persons aged 18 and over may take part. Employees of Fortress Hohenwerfen / Salzburg castles and palaces and their properties (Fortress Hohensalzburg, Castle Mauterndorf & Fort Kniepass) are excluded.
6. Exclusion of manipulation: Persons who use fake accounts, use automated methods (bots) or manipulate the competition in any other way are excluded from participation. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify such participants without giving reasons.
7. Period: The competition begins when the competition is activated and ends after a maximum of 7 days.
8. Prize: The prize will be drawn - see caption of the respective competition
9. Draw: The winners will be selected at random and notified within 2 days via DM & Story.
10. Data protection: The personal data collected as part of participation (Instagram user name, name if applicable) will be processed exclusively for the implementation and processing of the competition. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The data will be deleted after the competition has been completed and the prize has been handed over in full, but after 3 months at the latest. Participants have the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Please send your requests to: [email protected]. 11. The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation or the type of prize draw at any time. Any such changes will be announced immediately. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to terminate or interrupt the competition or the prize draw at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if there are reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition or prize draw from running as planned.
12. All travel and transportation costs shall be borne by the winner and cannot be claimed by the organizer
13. If the winner(s) do not contact us within one week, the claim to the prize will be forfeited without substitution. A replacement winner will then be selected in the same way, who must also report back within one week. There is no obligation to accept the prize.
14. The prize draw will take place after the end of the implementation period, excluding the public and guaranteeing the principle of chance.
15. Applicable law: Austrian law applies exclusively. Place of jurisdiction is Salzburg.
