Romantic Advent market at the Hohenwerfen adventure castle

At Hohenwerfen Castle, the medieval castle courtyard forms the backdrop for atmospheric afternoons in a family atmosphere. Original Pongau customs, Salzburg handicrafts, local delicacies, shepherds' plays and real folk music provide for Christmas anticipation. For younger visitors, there is a supervised children's program with handicrafts, cookie baking and a storyteller.

Opening hours: 

The Advent market at the Hohenwerfen adventure castle opens on Saturday, 29.11. and Sunday, 30.11. as well as on Saturday 6.12., Sunday 7.12. and Monday 8.12., in each case from 1pm to 7pm. Admission is free. Ascent with the fortress lift is possible for a fee.

14.00 -18.00: Supervised children's program with cookie baking, Christmas crafts and a fairy tale corner. Musical accompaniment by Weisenbläers and choirs.

In addition: 
Performances by local elementary schools; Christmas stories with the mute prisoner.
