At Hohenwerfen Castle, the medieval courtyard is transformed into an enchanting setting for festive afternoons in a family-friendly atmosphere. Authentic Pongau traditions, exquisite Salzburg handicrafts, local delicacies, a traditional shepherds’ play, and Christmas choirs and carols create a genuine sense of anticipation for the holiday season.

For our youngest visitors, there’s a lovingly designed children’s program featuring crafts, cookie baking, and a storyteller.

Important: We ask groups of 15 or more to register and—if desired—make a reservation at the Burgschenke.
